Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup self-rising flour
  • 1 cup plain (non-fat Greek yogurt)
  • 1 egg and 1 teaspoon of water

Instructions

  • Combine self-rising flour and Greek yogurt in a bowl.
  • Knead the dough gently on a floured surface until smooth yet slightly tacky.
  • Cut dough into four pieces, roll into logs, and shape into bagels.
  • Place on a parchment-lined baking sheet with space between them.
  • Brush with egg wash and add toppings if desired.
  • Bake at 350°F for 22 minutes, then increase oven to 450°F and bake for an additional 3-4 minutes.

Freeze bagels individually for longer storage, can last up to 3 months.
Reheat in a 350°F oven for about 5 minutes to enjoy them fresh.
