Description

This Baked Brie and Preserves dish combines creamy brie, luscious fruit preserves, and crunchy nuts for an easy yet impressive appetizer perfect for any gathering.


Ingredients

  • 1 wheel (8 ounces) Brie cheese
  • 1/3 cup fruit preserves or jam
  • 1/4 cup chopped nuts
  • 1 tablespoon honey (optional)
  • Fresh herbs or berries (optional)

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350℉ (175℃) and prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Place the brie wheel in the center of parchment.
  • Score the top of the brie with shallow cuts if desired.
  • Spread the fruit preserves evenly on top of the brie.
  • Sprinkle chopped nuts over the preserves.
  • Bake for 12 to 15 minutes until soft and gooey.
  • Let it rest for 2 to 3 minutes, then drizzle with honey or maple syrup if desired.
  • Transfer to a serving platter and arrange accompaniments.

Notes

Avoid overbaking the brie to maintain its texture.
Let the brie come to room temperature for 30 minutes before baking.
