Description

This Brie Cheese Bread features gooey melted cheese, crispy prosciutto, and a touch of honey, making it an irresistible appetizer that’s quick to prepare and delightful to share with loved ones.


Ingredients

  • 6 slices prosciutto
  • 1 loaf sourdough bread, halved
  • 8 ounces brie cheese
  • 3 tablespoons pistachios, crushed
  • 2 tablespoons hot honey
  • 1 teaspoon fresh or dried thyme
  • ½ teaspoon sea salt

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 425°F and prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Arrange prosciutto slices on the baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes until crispy.
  • Chop cooled prosciutto into bite-sized pieces.
  • Place one half of the sourdough on the lined sheet and evenly distribute sliced Brie over it.
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes until Brie is bubbling and bread is golden.
  • Drizzle hot honey over the melted Brie, sprinkle chopped prosciutto and pistachios, add thyme, and a pinch of sea salt.
  • Slice and serve warm.

Notes

Cool leftovers completely and store in an airtight container for up to 2 days at room temperature.
For longer storage, refrigerate for up to a week or freeze for 3 months, reheating at 350°F.
