Description

These Fudgy Dark Chocolate Brownies boast rich chocolate goodness that’s easy to make. With simple ingredients like bittersweet chocolate and eggs, they’re a delightful treat perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 8 oz. bittersweet chocolate
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 5 large eggs
  • 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 2/3 cup all purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees and grease a 13×9 inch baking pan.
  • Melt the butter and bittersweet chocolate in a 3-quart saucepan over low heat, stirring until smooth. Remove from heat and let it cool.
  • Once cooled, whisk in sugar and vanilla extract, then add eggs one by one, mixing until smooth.
  • Sift together cocoa powder, flour, and salt in a separate bowl, then combine with the chocolate mixture, whisking thoroughly.
  • Spread the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 25-35 minutes. Allow to cool before cutting and serving.

Notes

Ensure the chocolate mixture is completely cool before adding eggs to prevent them from cooking.
