Description

These Chocolate Covered Mint Oreos are a sweet treat that combines rich chocolate with minty goodness. Simple ingredients and quick prep make this dessert irresistible!


Ingredients

  • 24 mint flavored Oreos
  • 16 ounces semisweet chocolate disks
  • 1/4 teaspoon peppermint extract
  • 2 tablespoons green sprinkles

Instructions

  • Melt the semisweet chocolate disks in a microwave-safe bowl by heating for 30 seconds and stirring. Repeat in 30-second bursts until smooth.
  • Stir peppermint extract into the melted chocolate until well combined.
  • Prepare a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or a silicone mat.
  • Coat one Oreo at a time in the chocolate, using a fork. Tap the handle against the bowl to remove excess chocolate.
  • Place the dipped Oreo on the prepared baking sheet.
  • Transfer remaining melted chocolate to a piping or Ziploc bag, and drizzle it over the cookies in a zigzag pattern. Top with green sprinkles immediately.
  • Allow the cookies to set at room temperature for 30-60 minutes or refrigerate for 15 minutes until firm.
