Ingredients

  • Rice (long grain white or basmati)

Instructions

  • Rinse the rice under cool water for 1-2 minutes until water runs clear.
  • In a pot, boil water and add oil, salt, and rinsed rice. Simmer covered for 20-25 minutes.
  • Finely chop cilantro while the rice cooks. Once rice is done, fluff it and mix in oil, lime juice, and cilantro.
  • Taste and adjust seasoning. Serve warm.

Notes
