Description

Crispy Hot Honey Feta Chicken offers an irresistible blend of flavors with a crispy coating and creamy feta, perfect for a quick dinner or weekend gathering.


Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 1.5 tsp hot sauce
  • 3/4 tsp chili flakes
  • 2 chicken breasts (about 500 g)
  • 2 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1/4 cup plain flour (35 g)
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs (65 g)
  • 6–8 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 7 oz feta cheese (200 g, crumbled)

Instructions

  • Mix honey, hot sauce, and chili flakes in a bowl for the glaze.
  • Slice chicken breasts to create thin cutlets.
  • Combine spices in a bowl; split into two portions for flour and Panko.
  • Set up breading stations with seasoned flour, beaten eggs, and seasoned Panko.
  • Heat oil in a skillet; fry chicken cutlets until golden brown and cooked through.
  • Broil chicken with crumbled feta until softened and golden.
  • Drizzle spicy honey glaze over the chicken and serve hot.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
To revive crispiness, reheat in a preheated oven at 350°F.
Consider adding lemon zest to the honey glaze for added freshness.
