- 3 medium avocados
- ½ teaspoon ground cumin
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
- ½ – 1 teaspoon sea salt
- ¼ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 1–2 tablespoons lime juice
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro
- 2 small tomatoes deseeded and diced
Instructions
- Slice the avocados lengthwise, remove the pit, and scoop the flesh into a medium mixing bowl.
- Mash the avocado gently with a potato masher or fork, keeping it slightly chunky.
- Stir in cumin, garlic powder, onion powder, ½ teaspoon salt, black pepper, and 1 tablespoon lime juice.
- For smoother guacamole, continue mashing to blend the spices; for chunkier, use a spatula to combine.
- Add chopped cilantro and diced tomatoes, mixing until well combined.
- Taste and adjust salt or lime juice as desired.
- Allow the guacamole to sit at room temperature for at least 30 minutes before serving.
- For storage, place it in the fridge with a pit in the middle, a splash of lime juice on top, and tightly cover with plastic wrap to prevent browning.
- Serve chilled or at room temperature.
Notes
For extra flavor, add diced jalapeños or a pinch of cayenne pepper.
