Description

These Flourless Protein Banana Oat Waffles offer a delightful combination of flavors and textures. Perfect for breakfast, snack time, or brunch, they’re easy to prepare and a nutritious treat.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups quick oats
  • 4 Tbsp protein powder (optional)
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • ¼ tsp baking soda
  • 2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • ½ tsp sea salt
  • 2 large ripe bananas (mashed)
  • 2 large eggs
  • â…“ cup plain Greek yogurt
  • â…“ cup avocado oil
  • 2 Tbsp pure maple syrup
  • 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • ½ cup chocolate chips
  • â…“ cup chopped pecans or walnuts

Instructions

  • Blend dry ingredients until fine flour.
  • Mash bananas and mix with wet ingredients until smooth.
  • Combine wet and dry ingredients gently and fold in chocolate chips and nuts if using.
  • Preheat waffle iron and spray with cooking spray.
  • Pour batter into the hot waffle maker and cook for 3-5 minutes until golden brown.
