- 2 lbs chicken wings
- 1/4 cup BBQ sauce
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon chili flakes
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Rinse the chicken wings and pat them dry with paper towels.
- Mix together smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, chili flakes, salt, and pepper in a bowl; coat wings with this mixture.
- Place wings on a lined baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes.
- Brush both sides of the wings with BBQ sauce and increase oven temperature to 450°F (230°C).
- Bake for an additional 15-20 minutes until the sauce is bubbling and caramelized.
- Let the wings sit for a couple of minutes before serving.
Notes
For extra crispy wings, dry the chicken thoroughly before seasoning.
Feel free to marinate the wings for enhanced flavor before baking.
Leftover wings can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days or frozen for up to 3 months.
