- 1 pound ground beef, browned and drained
- 2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese, divided
- 10.5 ounces cheese sauce
- 1 tablespoon taco seasoning
- 1/2 tablespoon minced onion
- 1/4 cup freshly chopped cilantro (optional for garnish)
Instructions
- Prepare the crockpot by spraying it with nonstick cooking spray.
- Layer half of the frozen tater tots at the bottom of the crockpot.
- In a bowl, mix together browned beef, cheese sauce, taco seasoning, onion, and half the cheese.
- Spread the beef mixture over the tater tots in the crockpot.
- Top with the remaining tater tots in a single layer.
- Sprinkle the remaining cheese over the tater tots.
- Cover and cook on HIGH for 2½ hours, checking in the last half hour.
