- 1/2 cup honey
- 4 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon ginger (optional)
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch (optional)
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 green onions (optional, chopped)
Instructions
- Season the chicken with salt and pepper on both sides.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and cook chicken for 6-8 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- In a bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, and optional ginger.
- Remove chicken and pour the sauce into the skillet, simmer for 2-3 minutes.
- Return chicken to the skillet, coat with the sauce, and serve warm with green onions on top.
Notes
Use fresh garlic for better flavor; garlic powder is an alternative.
For gluten-free, replace soy sauce with tamari.
