Description

This Honey Garlic Chicken brings irresistible flavors together with juicy chicken, sweet honey, and bold garlic, perfect for a quick and delicious meal.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1.5 pounds chicken thighs or breasts
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon ginger (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 green onions (optional, chopped)

Instructions

  • Season the chicken with salt and pepper on both sides.
  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and cook chicken for 6-8 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  • In a bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, and optional ginger.
  • Remove chicken and pour the sauce into the skillet, simmer for 2-3 minutes.
  • Return chicken to the skillet, coat with the sauce, and serve warm with green onions on top.

Notes

Use fresh garlic for better flavor; garlic powder is an alternative.
For gluten-free, replace soy sauce with tamari.
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
