Description

Enjoy a delightful Irish Coffee with Whipped Cream (Hot or Iced Version). This simple recipe features the rich flavor of Irish whiskey combined with fresh coffee and topped with cream, making it perfect for a cozy evening or a pick-me-up anytime!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 ½ ounces irish whiskey (about 3 tablespoons)
  • 1 to 2 teaspoons maple syrup, to taste
  • 6 ounces hot freshly brewed coffee (about ¾ cup)
  • whipped cream, for topping

Instructions

  • Pour the whiskey and 1 teaspoon of maple syrup into a heat-safe mug.
  • Add a splash of the coffee and stir until the maple syrup dissolves.
  • Pour in the rest of the coffee and taste. Stir in more maple syrup if desired.
  • Top with whipped cream, pouring it slowly over a spoon for a floating effect if it's lightly whipped. Serve warm.

Notes

Use your favorite coffee roast for the best flavor.
Adjust the sweetness by adding more or less maple syrup based on your preference.
For an iced version, let the coffee cool and serve over ice.
