  • 2 tails lobster tails 4–6 oz each, thawed
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter european-style for extra richness
  • 1 tsp garlic powder burn-resistant flavor
  • 0.5 tsp paprika for color
  • 0.5 tsp cajun seasoning low-sodium blend recommended
  • 2 wedges lemon warm before squeezing for maximum yield
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley chopped finely for garnish

Instructions

  • Prep the lobster tails by using kitchen shears to cut through the top shell lengthwise, stopping just before the tail fin.
  • Gently pull the lobster meat upward, keeping it attached, and rest it atop the split shell. Pat dry with paper towels.
  • Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat. When it foams, whisk in garlic powder, paprika, and Cajun seasoning.
  • Sear the lobster tails flesh-side down in the seasoned butter for 2 minutes, spooning the butter over the tops as they cook.
  • Flip the lobster tails shell-side down and cook for another 1–2 minutes until the meat is firm and springs back when touched.
  • Squeeze lemon wedges directly over the lobster tails in the pan and garnish with parsley before serving.

Notes

For a richer flavor, use European-style unsalted butter.
Ensure the lobster is fully thawed for even cooking.
