Ingredients

  • 2 cups All-Purpose Flour
  • ½ teaspoon Salt
  • ½ teaspoon Instant Yeast or Active Dry Yeast
  • ½ cup plus 1 tablespoon Lukewarm Water
  • ½ tablespoon Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • Flour or Semolina Flour for rolling out the dough
  • Pizza Sauce
  • Fresh Mozzarella
  • Dried Oregano
  • Fresh Basil

Instructions

  • Mix flour, salt, and yeast in a bowl.
  • Add water and olive oil; combine to form a dough.
  • Knead gently for about 1 minute until mixed well.
  • Cover and let the dough rise until doubled, 30-45 minutes.
  • Roll out the dough to about 0.12 inches thick and cut into circles.
  • Preheat oven to 450°F (230°C).
  • Assemble pizzas with sauce, cheese, oregano, and basil.
  • Bake for 8-10 minutes until golden.
  • Cool slightly, then serve warm.

Notes

For gluten-free options, use a gluten-free flour blend.
Be careful with water temperature when activating yeast.
