Description

These charming Rice Krispie Treats for Valentine are easy to make and bursting with sweet flavors. Enjoy the delightful combination of marshmallows and white chocolate, perfect for sharing or gifting!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 5 tablespoon butter unsalted
  • 12 ounce mini marshmallows
  • 7 cups rice krispies cereal
  • 5 ounce white chocolate melts melted
  • sprinkles optional

Instructions

  • Line a 9×13 baking pan with parchment paper and set aside.
  • In a large pot over medium-low heat, melt the butter. Then, add the marshmallows and lower the heat.
  • Stir constantly to prevent sticking until the mixture is melted.
  • Remove from heat and pour in the Rice Krispies. Stir quickly until evenly coated.
  • Transfer the mixture to the prepared pan and press evenly into the pan (you can use butter or spray on your hands or parchment paper to prevent sticking).
  • Allow the mixture to cool in the fridge for about 10-15 minutes, then cut into individual pieces as desired.
  • Melt the white chocolate in a heat-safe bowl using a microwave or a double boiler. Add food coloring incrementally until you reach the desired color.
  • Allow the chocolate to cool slightly before transferring it to a piping bag. Cut a small hole at the tip.
  • Drizzle the melted chocolate back and forth over the treats, and add sprinkles if desired.

Notes

For best results, make sure to coat the Rice Krispies evenly with the melted mixture.
Using a non-stick spray on your hands can help when pressing the mixture into the pan.
