- 1 lb extra small shrimp, peeled, deveined, tails off
- 6 ounces canned lump crab meat
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded Colby Jack cheese
- 1/4 cup red bell pepper, chopped
- 1/4 cup green onion, sliced
- 2 tsp Cajun seasoning
- 1 tsp lemon zest
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F and prepare a baking dish with nonstick spray.
- Chop shrimp into small pieces and pat dry to remove moisture.
- Mix cream cheese, sour cream, and mayonnaise until smooth.
- Add cheddar, bell pepper, green onion, Cajun seasoning, and lemon zest—stir to combine.
- Gently fold in shrimp and crab, being careful not to overmix.
- Pour mixture into the baking dish and top with Colby Jack cheese.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Garnish with green onions and serve warm with dippers.
Notes
Use fresh crab for improved flavor when available.
For a healthier dip, substitute sour cream with Greek yogurt.
