Description

This Shrimp and Crab Dip combines creamy cheese with fresh seafood and Cajun spices for a rich, flavorful dip that’s perfect for parties or cozy nights at home. Quick to prepare and a crowd favorite!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb extra small shrimp, peeled, deveined, tails off
  • 6 ounces canned lump crab meat
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded Colby Jack cheese
  • 1/4 cup red bell pepper, chopped
  • 1/4 cup green onion, sliced
  • 2 tsp Cajun seasoning
  • 1 tsp lemon zest

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400°F and prepare a baking dish with nonstick spray.
  • Chop shrimp into small pieces and pat dry to remove moisture.
  • Mix cream cheese, sour cream, and mayonnaise until smooth.
  • Add cheddar, bell pepper, green onion, Cajun seasoning, and lemon zest—stir to combine.
  • Gently fold in shrimp and crab, being careful not to overmix.
  • Pour mixture into the baking dish and top with Colby Jack cheese.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  • Garnish with green onions and serve warm with dippers.

Notes

Use fresh crab for improved flavor when available.
For a healthier dip, substitute sour cream with Greek yogurt.
Add a dash of hot sauce for extra spice.
