- 1/4 cup tomato paste (double concentrated)

- 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (or to taste)

- 1 small handful fresh basil (sliced thin)
- Salt & pepper (to taste)
Instructions
- Boil a large pot of salted water and cook pasta until al dente.
- Chop bacon and cook in a skillet until crispy; remove leaving some fat in the pan.
- Sauté onion in the skillet until translucent, then add garlic and cook briefly.
- Pour in white wine and let simmer, scraping the pan.
- Add tomato paste, cream, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes; simmer to thicken.
- Incorporate crispy bacon and fresh basil, adjusting sauce thickness with reserved pasta water.
- Stir in parmesan cheese until melted, then mix with drained pasta.
