- ½ cup chopped walnuts
Instructions
- Combine water and honey in a bowl, sprinkle yeast, and let sit until bubbly (5-10 mins).
- Whisk together flour, salt, cinnamon, cranberries, raisins, and walnuts in a separate bowl.
- Mix the yeast mixture with the dry ingredients until just incorporated.
- Cover the dough and let it rise for 8-10 hours at room temperature.
- Shape the dough into a ball, place it seam-side down in a floured bowl, and refrigerate overnight.
- Preheat the Dutch oven to 450°F (232°C).
- Remove chilled dough, shape it, and score the top with a knife.
- Bake covered for 30 minutes, then uncover and bake for an additional 15–20 minutes until golden brown.
- Cool the bread on a wire rack before slicing.
