Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup old-fashioned rolled oats
  • 1 cup milk of choice
  • ½ cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons cream cheese, softened
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup or honey
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt
  • ¾ cup fresh strawberries, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon maple syrup (for strawberries)
  • Toppings (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons crushed graham crackers or granola
  • extra sliced strawberries for garnish

Instructions

  • Chop strawberries and mix with lemon juice and maple syrup; let sit.
  • In a bowl, whisk cream cheese and Greek yogurt until smooth. Add vanilla and remaining maple syrup and salt, mixing well.
  • Stir in oats and milk until combined; let sit for 5-10 minutes.
  • Layer oat mixture and strawberries in jars, leaving room at the top for toppings.
  • Seal jars and refrigerate overnight or at least 6 hours.
  • Add toppings in the morning and enjoy cold.

Notes

Use fresh, ripe strawberries for best flavor and sweetness.
Consider making a double batch for easy breakfasts throughout the week.
For a thicker texture, reduce the milk or increase the oats.
