Ingredients
Scale
- ½ cup granola, more for topping
- 1 cup yogurt of choice
- ½ cup fresh strawberries, hulled and diced
- ¾ cup fresh strawberries, sliced or chopped
- ¼ cup granola, smaller pieces work better
Instructions
- Line a 12-cup muffin pan with muffin liners or use a silicone baking pan.
- Sprinkle about 2 teaspoons of granola into the bottom of each cup and set aside.
- In a medium bowl, combine yogurt and diced strawberries. Mash the strawberries into the yogurt until mostly mixed, leaving some chunks.
- Stir and fold until the mixture is well combined.
- Spoon 2 tablespoons of the strawberry yogurt mixture into each cup, leveling it out and tapping the pan to smooth each layer.
- Top each cup with about 1 tablespoon of sliced strawberries or a whole strawberry slice.
- Sprinkle about 1 teaspoon of granola over the strawberries on each cup.
- Place the pan into the freezer and chill until firm, about 2-4 hours.
- Remove the frozen yogurt bites from the pan, let them thaw for a few minutes, then enjoy.
Notes
Ensure the strawberries are fresh for best flavor.
For a variation, try using flavored yogurt or different fruits.
These yogurt bites can be stored in the freezer for a quick snack!
