Description

These Valentine strawberry yogurt bites are a delightful treat featuring fresh strawberries, creamy yogurt, and crunchy granola. Perfect for a quick dessert or a healthy snack, they offer a burst of flavor while being simple to prepare. Ideal for those looking for homemade treats!

Ingredients

Scale
  • ½ cup granola, more for topping
  • 1 cup yogurt of choice
  • ½ cup fresh strawberries, hulled and diced
  • ¾ cup fresh strawberries, sliced or chopped
  • ¼ cup granola, smaller pieces work better

Instructions

  • Line a 12-cup muffin pan with muffin liners or use a silicone baking pan.
  • Sprinkle about 2 teaspoons of granola into the bottom of each cup and set aside.
  • In a medium bowl, combine yogurt and diced strawberries. Mash the strawberries into the yogurt until mostly mixed, leaving some chunks.
  • Stir and fold until the mixture is well combined.
  • Spoon 2 tablespoons of the strawberry yogurt mixture into each cup, leveling it out and tapping the pan to smooth each layer.
  • Top each cup with about 1 tablespoon of sliced strawberries or a whole strawberry slice.
  • Sprinkle about 1 teaspoon of granola over the strawberries on each cup.
  • Place the pan into the freezer and chill until firm, about 2-4 hours.
  • Remove the frozen yogurt bites from the pan, let them thaw for a few minutes, then enjoy.

Notes

Ensure the strawberries are fresh for best flavor.
For a variation, try using flavored yogurt or different fruits.
These yogurt bites can be stored in the freezer for a quick snack!
