Description

These sticky oven-roasted BBQ ribs are a crowd-pleaser with their rich flavor and easy preparation. Perfect for cookouts and family dinners, these ribs combine smoked paprika and brown sugar for a mouthwatering taste.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 lbs baby back ribs or st. louis ribs
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon cocoa powder
  • ¼ teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • ½ teaspoon smoked sea salt
  • 1 teaspoon korean chili flakes or ¼ teaspoon cayenne

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine all the rub ingredients thoroughly.
  2. If the brown sugar is clumpy, break it apart using your fingers. Set the mixture aside for at least 30 minutes before applying it to the ribs.

Notes

For best flavor, marinate the ribs with the rub overnight in the refrigerator.
Wrap the ribs in foil during baking for tender results.
Customize the spice levels by adjusting the amount of Korean chili flakes or cayenne.
