- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 large yellow onion, diced
- 2 tbsp mayonnaise
- 6 slices cheddar cheese
- 12 hawaiian rolls
- 2 tbsp butter, melted
- 1 tbsp everything bagel seasoning
Instructions
- Brown the ground beef in a skillet, breaking it up as it cooks. Drain excess grease and return the meat to the pan.
- Stir in salt, pepper, garlic powder, and diced onion. Cook until the onion is soft.
- Slice the Hawaiian rolls horizontally and place the bottom half in a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Spread the beef mixture evenly over the rolls.
- Add cheddar cheese slices on top of the beef mixture.
- Spread mayonnaise on the inside of the roll tops.
- Bake at 350°F for 12-15 minutes, until cheese melts and the tops toast.
- Mix melted butter with everything bagel seasoning and brush over the warm rolls.
Notes
These sliders can be prepared ahead of time and baked just before serving.
Feel free to customize toppings such as pickles or jalapeños for extra flavor.
