- 4 tablespoons brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons granulated garlic
- 1 tablespoon smoked paprika

- 8 hamburger buns

Instructions
- Prepare the grill fire to about 300° using hickory or oak wood for smoke flavor.
- Combine brown sugar, garlic, smoked paprika, salt, pepper, and dry mustard to create the steak rub.
- Mix the prepared seasonings into the ground beef and form it into 8 patties, making an indentation in the center of each.
- Place the patties over indirect heat on the grill and cook with the lid closed for 5 minutes.
- Flip the burgers and continue cooking until they reach an internal temperature of 165°.
- Remove the burgers from the grill and serve on buns topped with lettuce, tomato, onion, and your favorite condiments.
