Description

This Classic Caesar Salad brings fresh romaine, rich parmesan, and a creamy dressing together for an irresistible flavor. Quick to prepare, it’s perfect for a wholesome meal at home.


Ingredients

  • 1 large egg yolk
  • 1 tablespoon dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon anchovy paste
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 teaspoon worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon cracked black pepper
  • Salt to taste
  • 910 oz. romaine lettuce, chopped (~5 cups)
  • 1/2 cup shredded parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup croutons

Instructions

  1. Whisk together the egg yolk, Dijon mustard, and lemon juice in a medium bowl until frothy.
  2. Gradually drizzle in the olive oil while whisking vigorously until the mixture thickens.
  3. Stir in the anchovy paste, grated Parmesan cheese, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, and cracked black pepper. Mix until combined and add salt to taste.
