Ingredients
Scale
- 1 (14-ounce) bag coleslaw mix
- 3 green onions, thinly sliced
- 3/4 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 teaspoon dijon mustard
- 3/4 teaspoon celery seeds
- 1/2 teaspoon fine sea salt
- 1/4 teaspoon freshly cracked black pepper
Instructions
- Combine the coleslaw mix and sliced green onions in a large mixing bowl and toss briefly to mix them together.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, honey, dijon mustard, celery seeds, salt, and pepper until the mixture is smooth and well blended.
- Pour the dressing over the cabbage and onion mixture and toss to ensure everything is evenly coated.
- Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to blend and the cabbage to soften slightly.
- Before serving, give the slaw a quick toss and taste it. Adjust the seasoning with extra salt, pepper, or vinegar if necessary.
Notes
For extra sweetness, you can increase the amount of honey to taste.
Feel free to add shredded carrots for additional color and flavor.
