Description

This creamy hot honey hummus packs irresistible flavors and is easy to whip up. With chickpeas, tahini, and a hint of lemon, it’s perfect for a healthy snack or as a dip at parties.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 (14 ounce cans) chickpeas, drained and rinsed
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • â…” cup tahini
  • ¼ cup hot honey, plus more for drizzling
  • ½ lemon, juiced
  • ½ tsp kosher salt
  • ½ tsp pepper
  • ¼ to ½ cup ice water
  • olive oil for drizzling

Instructions

  1. Reserve a few chickpeas for topping.
  2. Combine chickpeas, minced garlic, tahini, hot honey, lemon juice, salt, and pepper in a food processor. Blend for 2-3 minutes, scraping down the sides as needed.
  3. Stream in ice water while the processor is running until the mixture is smooth and creamy. Adjust salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Spread hummus onto a plate or bowl. Top with reserved chickpeas, drizzle with olive oil and hot honey, and sprinkle with salt and pepper before serving.

Notes

For a smoother texture, blend longer and ensure all ingredients are well processed.
Adjust the amount of hot honey based on desired heat level.
This hummus can be served with pita chips, veggies, or as part of a mezze platter.
