Description

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 large yellow onion, thinly sliced
  • 2 teaspoons garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • ½ teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Pound the chicken breasts to about ½ to ¾ inch thickness or slice large breasts in half horizontally.
  2. Season both sides of the chicken with salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  3. Place flour in a shallow bowl. Dredge the chicken lightly, shaking off excess.
  4. In a large skillet over medium heat, heat the oil. Add the chicken and cook for 4 to 5 minutes per side until golden brown, then transfer to a plate.
