Description

This Grilled Corn on the Cob showcases sweet, juicy corn with a delightful butter and seasoning blend. Perfect for quick dinners or summer gatherings!


Ingredients

  • 4 full-size corn on the cob
  • ¼ tsp oil (if using a griddle pan, optional)
  • 30 g butter or dairy-free alternative (plain, herb, garlic, chilli, dulse, etc.)
  • seasoning (salt, pepper, herbs, chilli flakes, etc.)

Instructions

  1. Prepare all butters and seasonings in advance.
  2. If the corn has husk, peel it back and remove silk and tassels to expose kernels.
  3. Preheat the barbecue, grill, or griddle pan to high heat.
  4. If using a griddle pan, lightly brush with oil; otherwise, you may brush a bit of oil on the corn.
  5. Place the corn cobs on the grill, under the grill, or in the griddle pan.
  6. Turn frequently until the corn turns a deeper yellow, is juicy, and has slight charring; cook for a maximum of 8 to 10 minutes.
  7. Remove corn from heat and serve immediately slathered in your favorite butter and seasoned as preferred.
