- 2 cups (250g) all-purpose flour, plus more for kneading and rolling
- 1 teaspoon granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon finely chopped fresh rosemary
- 2/3 cup (160ml) water
- 3 tablespoons (41g) extra-virgin olive oil, plus more for brushing on top
- flaky sea salt, for topping
Instructions
- Whisk together flour, sugar, salt, onion powder, garlic powder, and rosemary in a large bowl.
- Add water and olive oil, stirring until the dough forms a clump.
- Turn out onto a lightly floured surface and knead for 1 to 2 minutes until it’s no longer sticky.
- Cover and let the dough rest for 10 minutes to 1 hour at room temperature.
- Preheat the oven to 425°F (218°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Cut the dough in half, keeping one half covered while working with the other.
- Roll out one half into a 1/16-inch thick rectangle on a floured surface.
- Cut into small rectangles of about 3 x 1.5 inches and transfer to the baking sheets.
- Repeat with the second half of dough.
- Dock the crackers with a fork and brush with olive oil, sprinkling with flaky salt.
- Bake for 9-12 minutes until golden brown, rotating halfway through.
- Cool completely on a cooling rack before serving.
