- 4 oz canned mushrooms
- 1 pkg onion soup mix
- 1 ¼ cups water
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 1 tbsp cold water
- Cooked rice
Instructions
- Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Season chicken with salt and pepper, then add to the skillet; sear until golden brown (4-5 minutes per side).
- Remove chicken; add onion and bell pepper to skillet, sautéing until soft (3-4 minutes).
- Add canned mushrooms, soup mix, and water; stir well and simmer.
- Whisk cornstarch with cold water, then mix into skillet to thicken gravy.
- Return chicken to skillet, spoon gravy over, and simmer for another 5 minutes.
- Serve over cooked rice or preferred base.
