Description

This Pan Pizza offers a wonderful blend of textures and flavors with a crispy crust, gooey cheese, and savory toppings, making it a perfect easy meal for any pizza lover.


Ingredients

  • 1 (10 to 12 ounce) ball pizza dough
  • 1½ tablespoons olive oil
  • â…“ cup pizza sauce
  • ¾ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ¼ cup pepperoni slices
  • ¼ cup shredded parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Add 1½ tablespoons of olive oil to a 10-inch cast-iron skillet and swirl it around to coat the sides.
  2. Stretch or roll out the pizza dough into a 10-inch circle. Transfer into the oiled skillet.
  3. Preheat oven to 475℉.
  4. Let the dough sit out for 30 minutes in a warm area (such as near the preheating oven).
  5. Spread pizza sauce over the dough, leaving a ¼-inch border around the edges. Top with mozzarella, pepperoni slices, and parmesan cheese.
  6. Bake pizza for 15 to 20 minutes until crisp.

Notes

For a crispier crust, bake the pizza on the bottom rack of the oven.
